Copy editing is sometimes referred to as “proofreading.” Proofreading is actually the final check for errors on the book layout, the last stage before publishing. Since this is not the time for lots of changes, I offer proofreading only for the books and novels I copy edit. Please be aware that I do not edit the actual design files; on a PDF copy, I will note the corrections needed, but your designer will need to make the necessary changes.
